In April, we celebrate high school students at Truckee High and Sierra High who inspire their teachers and classmates.
It's a favorite event because we honor boys and girls reading complementary words from their teachers and give each of them a gift card and certificate from SITD.
We plan to celebrate 5 Sierra High students and 17 Truckee High students on April 15th and 18th respectively. We will ask for 2 SITD members to join our team at Sierra High and 4 SITD members for Truckee High on 4/18. The celebrations last about 1 hour and we will post the timing details on our website.
These events are very inspiring to learn about the progress students have made during the year and how they have positively impacted their fellow students and teachers.
