REMINDER to mark the date on your calendars for our largest fundraising event of the year, the 49th Annual SITD Wine & Restaurant Faire on June 1st. This event is an all-hands event, even if you cannot attend, your help is needed.
Update this month, lots of progress has been made however we can still use your help with the following:
- Sponsorship - We are still seeking sponsors at every level, if you know of a local business that may be interested please reach out to this year’s Winetasting Sponsorship Coordinator, Debbie Quement, to let her know who you would like to solicit (so that we can avoid approaching the same business/person for multiple “asks”).

Many businesses set their budgets early in the year and/or have long lead times to evaluate donation requests. Many require 60-90 days ahead of the event date to consider solicitations. Don’t miss securing a great Silent Auction item because you missed a business cut-off date. Click on this LINK to view the 2023 list of donations secured by our Members. If you secured a donation last year and are not available to reach out again for 2024, please contact one of our committee members: Jill Archer (650.888.0623), Susan Gustavson (707.696.80690 or Marcy Alstott (925.437.4125) and they will make arrangements to contact them for a 2024 donation. For other companies not on the list, feel free to reach out on your own and then complete the Donation Form. Here is a link to download the Silent Auction Donation Form and have them ready to share as needed.
- Event tickets will be $50 until May 28th and then go up to $60 each. They can be purchased online or when the tickets are printed which should be early April. Raffle Tickets will also be made available in April.
- Volunteers: If you would like to help on a committee please contact Marion Thatch, Wine Event Chair (510.910.2509) and she will work with you to find a role that works best for you.
