Dream It, Be It at Truckee High School was a success!
Lisa Simone, Rachel Dickinson, and I had the pleasure of working with Jessica Jacobs and her Women’s Studies class at Truckee High School. Even at 7:30 a.m., these 28 students were awake, engaged, and ready to participate in personality and values surveys — and to hear six inspiring speakers 🎤.
Highlights included:
· Sally Krammen ✈️ — pilot and flight instructor
· Joan Jones 🛠️ — general contractor and former Truckee mayor
· Annie Rosenfield 🏨 — GM at Tahoe Donner
· Plus an engineer, an electrician ⚡, and a substance abuse counselor
